This adventure takes place wholly within the realms of Salamandastron and the surrounding areas - the only book in the series thus far to not have some portion taking place within Redwall!
In this book we meet Ungatt Trun and discover his relationship to another evil wildcat that we met in an earlier book in the series. The adventures are wonderful as they are every time, and the cast of characters draws us in to the story. There is a haunting death scene in the book that always leaves me in tears no matter how many times I read it!
Overall, just another great book in a fantastic series.
